Beard, a 1988 graduate of Watertown High School, has been with the fire department for 14 years and also serves as the chef of the department’s famous first Saturday of the month fish fry. “Firefighter Beard has given many years of service and dedication to our community. He truly has the heart of a servant. He is always reliable and his work ethic is one that everyone should have. Firefighter Beard gives of his time without complaint and does so without expectation of recognition,” Haun said.
