Kay has been in the insurance industry since 1976, with most of her experience spent on the agency side but some time spent between a few carriers. From advocating for the client to handling claims, Kay exceeds in her knowledge and years spent in this ever-changing industry. The majority of her insurance years were spent with Willis Group. As a mother of two, being close to her kids is important, especially since the grandsons arrived. As a native to this area, Kay’s familiarity with the region is helpful in making clients feel at home with us at DSI. Her mother still lives in the Woodbine area of Nashville in the home she grew up in. In her time away from the office, Kay likes to garden, repurpose old furniture, bake (anything with sugar, butter or cream cheese) and especially enjoys traveling with her long time husband, Gil. In the past, her commute from Wilson County has been towards downtown. It’s a nice change driving to Lebanon instead. She would say it’s the ideal commute!
